The Role

Are you driven by scientific innovation and wellness? Holland and Barrett is seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Wellness Solutions team, where you'll lead the development of health and wellness products. Apply your expertise to ensure scientific credibility and drive impactful innovation in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead scientific projects to ensure accuracy and credibility in product development.
• Provide expert input to cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and research.
• Conduct scientific reviews and create evidence-based materials for new product solutions.
• Analyse scientific data and provide actionable insights to support wellness products.
• Ensure compliance with scientific guidelines, regulatory standards, and best practices.
• Mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge and advancing the development of wellness products.
• Represent Holland and Barrett at scientific conferences, workshops, and collaborations.
  
  

Location: This role is based in London, with the requirement to be in the office at least two days per week.

The Person

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in nutritional science, health, wellness, or FMCG.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting scientific data and substantiating claims.
• Adaptable and self-motivated, skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency in scientific writing, literature searches, and translating complex data.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver science-led products.
• Familiarity with health and wellness product regulations and research in areas like VHMS, sports, and botanicals.
• A passion for advancing the science of health and wellness.
