Your new role

The role of senior technical manager is an ideal opportunity for an existing technical manager or for a client-facing audit or financial reporting manager to develop their career in a predominantly home-based role:

• You will provide technical and practical guidance to the audit and accounts teams within your region.
• Monitor audit approach and review files providing guidance on technical methodology.
• Develop both a team around you and subject-matter experts within the region.
• You will be involved in the production of technical updates and training.

What you'll need to succeed

We anticipate that the successful technical senior manager will be:

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Have extensive recent knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Have a background in external audit ideally combined with exposure to financial reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to be effective in a very visible role.
