Job summary

Yorkshire Housing is seeking a Senior Repairs Team Leader for Swarcliffe to lead responsive repairs, empty homes and planned works. You will manage trade operatives and repairs supervisors, ensuring the right people with the right skills are in place while maintaining quality and safety.

We require proven leadership in repairs and a focus on customer service, with responsibility for performance, contractor management, and coaching a team to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience of repairs, empty homes and planned works, ideally in a social housing environment.
• Strong people management and leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of health, safety and property maintenance compliance.
• Ability to use data and KPIs to monitor service performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support trade operatives and repairs supervisors, creating a valued team.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of repairs, empty homes and planned works, meeting contract standards.
• Forecast workforce needs and ensure right skills are available.
• Champion health, safety and compliance in all work.
• Coach and develop your team to continuously improve the service.
