Job summary

Keltbray is seeking a Senior Estimator – Renewables to lead estimating and cost planning for grid connections, BESS BoP, and wind eBoP projects within the Energy & Digital Infrastructure sector. You will develop robust cost models, ensure alignment with delivery strategy, and support tendering with auditable cost breakdowns.

The role operates at senior level, shaping risk-adjusted estimates, market intelligence, and procurement strategies to win high-value renewables contracts across the UK.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in estimating renewable energy or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of grid connections, BESS BoP and/or wind eBoP works.
• Proven ability to lead complex estimates across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of estimates, cost plans and pricing submissions for renewable energy infrastructure projects.
• Develop robust cost models across varying design maturity stages and tender returns.
• Provide auditable breakdowns of assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, risk allowances and contingencies.
• Support procurement strategies and value engineering to optimise cost and risk.
