Job summary

Catering, based in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Senior P&R Estimator to join the growing Power & Renewables team. You will manage estimating and tendering from enquiry through submission and handover, supporting major electrical infrastructure projects.

The role requires 5+ years in construction or renewables, a qualification in electrical engineering or related field, strong IT skills, and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional inputs to deliver accurate, commercial tenders

Qualifications

Third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years' experience in construction, electrical infrastructure or renewables.
2+ years' in a Senior Electrical Estimator role preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate estimating and tendering from enquiry through submission and handover.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, commercial and construction teams to develop estimates.
Prepare detailed estimates and quantity take-offs based on project scope and tender docs.
Review tenders for inclusions, exclusions, assumptions and programmes.
Identify risks and mitigation strategies and communicate them to the bid team.
Support handover of awarded projects to the Construction Team.
