Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain and repair a variety of site equipment in our Daventry fulfilment campus. You will ensure safe operation, perform proactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and support apprentice development on site.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, adherence to health and safety standards, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives across EU sites. Shifts include nights to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship
• 4 years UK certified apprenticeship
• SVQ/IVQ/BTEC Level 3 equivalents in a relevant engineering subject

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across EU sites
