Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to ensure safety standards, perform preventative maintenance, and maximise equipment availability across the EU network.

The role requires hands-on work on material handling equipment, troubleshooting, and mentoring on-shift technicians, with a focus on continuous improvement and contractor management. Expect non-traditional shift patterns including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• NVQ Level 3/ SVQ Level 3/ IVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• 4 years UK certified apprenticeship.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Experience with automated conveyors systems and controls, PLCs, NEC and related maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of equipment availability through troubleshooting and prioritising tasks.
• Coach and mentor technicians on shift and support line manager in absence.
• Attend to preventative maintenance in a timely and quality manner.
• Manage contractors and ensure safety practices across the shift.
• Drive continuous improvement of systems across the EU network.
