Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team in London, GB. You will help design, build, and operate reliable, scalable applications and services that power Fitch's global platforms.

The role focuses on AI-assisted tooling, observability, and IaC, with emphasis on CI/CD, security, and performance. You will collaborate with distributed teams, implement proactive monitoring, and contribute to disaster recovery testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, ELB, S3, RDS) and cloud architectures.
• 5+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or PowerShell and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with distributed development teams to design, build, and operate reliable, high-performing applications.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployments for reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate risk across cloud environments while maintaining strong security posture.
