Senior Relationship Manager London (LL5-1)

Contract and Salary

Permanent job share, 17.5 hours per week (Wednesday 7h, Thursday 7h, Friday 3.5h). Salary: £51,457 (pro‑rata) per annum plus benefits including a final‑salary pension scheme, generous annual leave and flexible and hybrid working.

Location

London (hybrid working; 1‑2 days on‑site per week).

Overview

As a Senior Relationship Manager at Arts Council England, you will contribute to the Arts Council’s role as a national development agency. You will manage partnerships, investments and development programmes across the London Area, lead a team of experienced Relationship Managers and represent the London Area at monthly Touring Project Grants decision panels.

Responsibilities

You will lead on key strategic priorities in London, drive the delivery of Arts Council programmes and investments, support the 2020‑2030 strategy “Let’s Create”, and manage change and project delivery in the theatre sector.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience managing a team and direct line management.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels and developing credible partnerships.
  • Demonstrable project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the theatre industry and an understanding of the challenges facing cultural organisations.
  • Experience managing change.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with business planning and financial reporting.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and understanding of the Nolan Principles of Public Life.
  • Business Development, Portfolio Management, Leadership, Credit and Cash‑Flow Analysis, Banking, Relationship and Customer Management, Negotiation, RMF.
  • Required Experience: Manager.
