The new role sits within our Wise Platform Product Risk and Compliance team, which is part of the 1st Line of Defense (1LOD). This strategic addition comes in response to the rapid growth of our product offerings and the increasing regulatory pressure and expectation we face. We’re looking for a Product Compliance Manager to join this growing team. This role is hands-on, providing a unique opportunity to impact, grow as a product and compliance manager, and help save millions of people money.

Job Responsibilities

• Enable our Wise Platform team to launch new products and partnerships globally by understanding regulatory requirements and regulators’ expectations.
• Advise product teams on building compliant-by-design products and services, integrating regulatory requirements in a customer-oriented manner.
• Ensure regulatory analysis of new products and services is performed, well-documented, and controls are consistently implemented prior to launch.
• Collaborate with regional compliance and product teams to ensure remediation plans are executed timely and effectively.
• Advise on regulatory risks and prioritize remediation projects accordingly.
• Represent Wise in external meetings with banking partners and regulators, clearly articulating Wise’s offerings.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Strong prioritization skills to manage projects from start to finish in dynamic situations.
