Job summary

Compass Associates is seeking a Registered Service Manager for an adult supported living service in Lowestoft. The role leads a large, bedded service with a fully staffed team, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring high-quality, person-centred support for adults with physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

The successful candidate will drive service quality, regulatory compliance, and collaborative leadership across three services, with on-site presence and an 1 in 8 on-call

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in mental health or wider social care services.
• Level 5 Diploma (or eligible) in Health and Social Care management.
• Solid track record of regulated services with safeguarding and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, managers, and external professionals.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to balance priorities across three services.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership with high-quality, person-centred support.
• Ensure service delivery meets standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Lead, support, and develop staff teams to foster a positive culture.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement service improvements using best practice.
• Act as primary on-site contact and participate in on-call rota.
