Job summary

Walker Sime Limited is seeking a Senior Regeneration & Development Manager in Manchester. The role blends regeneration strategy with development delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing key bids and procurements.

You will build client relationships, expand the regeneration offering, and contribute to cross-sector collaborations. Hybrid working is available as the team grows beyond traditional PM duties, with emphasis on ownership, problem solving, and expanding our client

Qualifications

• Experience across regeneration and development projects.
• Worked with local authorities, combined authorities, developers or similar stakeholders.
• A good understanding of how the public and private sectors work together on major developments.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Exposure to development partner procurement, competitive dialogue or major development bids.
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of development viability.
• Excellent written and client-facing communication skills.
• An established or developing network within the regeneration and development sector.
• The confidence to take ownership and build relationships.

Senior Regeneration & Development Manager

Manchester | Permanent Role | Hybrid Working Arrangements

We're looking for a Senior Regeneration & Development Manager to join our growing team at Walker Sime.

This is an opportunity to work on complex regeneration and development programmes, bringing together public and private sector stakeholders to help turn ambitious plans into deliverable outcomes.

This isn't a traditional construction Project Manager role. You'll work across regeneration and development, taking ownership of key workstreams, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and contributing to development bids and procurement processes.

You’ll also have the opportunity to build your own client relationships, grow your industry network and play a part in developing our regeneration offering.

While we're primarily recruiting at Senior Manager level, we're open to strong Manager-level candidates ready to take that next step.

You may come from regeneration, development, property or development consultancy rather than a traditional construction PM background.
