Job summary

Willmott Dixon Developments is seeking a Senior Development Manager to grow capacity across South Wales and potentially the wider South West. You will lead development opportunities, manage existing projects, and collaborate with delivery teams to expand our regeneration pipeline while maintaining strong relationships with customers and funders.

You will drive development appraisals, financial modelling and strategic bid activity, with a focus on public sector partnerships and sustainable urban

Qualifications

• Experience leading development projects with a focus on regeneration and mixed-use schemes.
• Proven ability to develop opportunities with public sector partners and funders.
• Strong capability in developing and reporting commercial appraisals and financial modelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with solid report and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the existing pipeline of development projects with the preconstruction teams.
• Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, funders and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Create development management services solutions and deliver through to project completion.
• Identify alternative funding options and develop contingency plans to optimise returns.
• Develop development appraisals and report findings internally and externally.
• Collaborate with regional teams to deliver margin targets and approved programmes.
• Lead development opportunity bids and feasibilities to outcomes; support business development, bids and events.
