Job summary
Secker & Sons Ltd in East Anglia is seeking an Experienced Refrigeration Service & Diagnostic Engineer. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning systems across various customer sites.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration service, FGAS Category 1 qualification, and strong communication skills. A competitive salary of £42-45k is offered, along with additional perks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial refrigeration service & maintenance.
- FGAS Category 1 qualified.
- City & Guilds Level 3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification.
- Hydrocarbon (6187) ticket and CSCS card required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong communication skills and flexible working attitude.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
- Participate in on-call rota for 24-hour breakdown cover.
- Support and mentor junior engineers.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
