We are seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role in the entire recruitment lifecycle, combining business development, client relationship management and candidate placement. The ideal candidate for this role would have experience as a recruiter in the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) market within the HV/Renewables sector. However, we are open to any recruiter at the senior level who has an agency background and is experienced in business development. This is an opportunity to work on a hot desk in a booming sector that is safe from possible economic downturns due to net zero targets and government funding.

The Role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in the entire recruitment lifecycle, combining business development, client relationship management and candidate placement. This is a full 360 recruitment role and is is expected that the successful candidate is experienced in the end-to-end recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client management and business development - Identifying and developing new business opportunities using a variety of strategies; Building and maintaining strong client relationships; Understanding client hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions; Negotiating fees, terms and contracts
• Candidate sourcing and management - Sourcing candidates using a variety of techniques; Screening CVs and assessing candidate suitability; Matching high-quality candidates to relevant roles; Providing coaching and interview prep to candidates;
• End-to-end recruitment process - Manage the full recruitment lifecycle; Coordinate interview processers and provide feedback; Maintain accurate records using our ATS
• Market expertise - Remaining up-to-date with market trends within our sector; Acting as an advisor to both clients and candidates
• Leadership - Acting as a mentor and support mechanism for junior members of staff; Supporting in the training and development of less experienced team members

• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Is organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing administrative tasks
• Is driven and motivated to succeed
• Is willing and able to work in our office in Poulton-le-Fylde on a hybrid basis (home/office split dependent on experience - we are open to remote workers)
