Job summary

Turning Point UK is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to lead service development across Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea Substance Use Services. The role focuses on improving engagement with global majority communities and other underserved groups, ensuring accessible, culturally responsive services shaped by community needs.

You will drive quality improvement, mentor colleagues, and contribute to workforce development while shaping future priorities in a part-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Experience working within substance use services, health, social care or a related field.
• Strong understanding of health inequalities, inclusion and culturally responsive practice.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience leading service improvement, quality improvement or change projects.
• The ability to analyse data and use insight to improve services.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead our initial programme of work to strengthen engagement with global majority communities and other underserved or marginalized groups.
• Build trusted relationships with community organizations, faith groups, local leaders and partner agencies.
• Identify barriers to treatment and develop practical, evidence-based solutions to improve access and outcomes.
• Use data, community insight and lived experience to inform service development.
• Support colleagues to develop inclusive, culturally responsive practice.
• Lead quality improvement and innovation projects across the service.
• Share best practice, coach colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the wider workforce.
