Job summary

AWS Data Center Builder Tools team seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the real-time middleware and runtime platform powering industrial control systems across AWS Data Centers. You will own architecture, data exchange, and cloud integration, driving reliability, determinism, and scalable design.

The role involves mentoring engineers, shaping multi-quarter strategy, and aligning hardware, controls, security, and operations around a shared technical vision.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
• Experience leading architecture and design of complex software systems.
• Strong background in professional software development lifecycle and practices.
• Familiarity with industrial automation platforms and real-time middleware.

Responsibilities
