Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and operate the core data platform powering our business, delivering real-time market data to systems across the organisation. You'll work on a distributed, event-driven platform processing billions of market data messages daily, in a high-performance environment where reliability, scalability, and correctness are essential.

Qualifications

Experience designing and building distributed, real-time data platforms.
Strong proficiency in Java or .NET and streaming technologies.
Ability to operate with focus on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, real-time data processing systems using technologies like Apache Flink, Kafka.
Develop high-quality, maintainable code for Apache Flink (Java) data processing and .NET APIs.
Lead and contribute to collaborative system design, while taking end-to-end ownership of implementation through to production support.
Build production-grade systems with observability, monitoring, and operational excellence, enabling rapid detection and resolution of issues.
Work with AWS services to build cloud-native, highly available systems.
Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform and implement CI/CD pipelines with Harness.
