Job summary

Metro Bank in the United Kingdom is seeking a Real Estate Finance specialist to support the Head of Real Estate in being the bank’s external face to the property market, building our brand reputation with customers and professionals.

You will manage a portfolio of Real Estate clients, evaluate lending opportunities, complete KYC, and collaborate across Credit, Lending & Securities to deliver responsible growth.

Qualifications

• Proven specialist sector knowledge within commercial Real Estate Finance.
• Experience delivering transaction sizes between £5m.
• Experience in credit writing and deal structuring for Real Estate.
• Knowledge of Financial Crime, AML, and TCF expectations.
• Ability to build long-term relationships inside the Bank and with market professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the business model for Real Estate Finance.
• Support Head of Real Estate and act as external face to the property market.
• Manage an active portfolio of Real Estate customers and acquire new clients.
• Evaluate lending opportunities and financial metrics with risk considerations.
• Onboard clients, complete KYC, coordinate with Financial Crime and Account Opening Teams.
• Maintain relationships with Credit, Lending & Securities, and other departments.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and risk management.
