Metro Bank in Birmingham is seeking a senior leader to head Real Estate Finance, overseeing a portfolio of commercial property lending and directing a team of Relationship Managers and Analysts.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on risk management, relationship building with major market players, and delivering lending targets in a dynamic regulatory environment. Hybrid working is available where possible.

Qualificações

• Experience structuring and delivering commercial property lending deals across asset classes.
• Track record of relationship management in commercial Real Estate Finance.
• Experience handling transaction sizes over £10m.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial banking, property investment and development lending.
• Strong credit writing, financial analysis and client reporting skills.
• Familiarity with KYC processes and regulatory oversight.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to represent the bank on senior committees and groups.
