Job summary

Metro Bank Plc in Manchester/Leeds area seeks professionals for Real Estate Finance roles. You will manage an active Real Estate customer portfolio, assess lending opportunities, and help grow the bank's market presence with a strong client-facing focus.

You will support risk, regulatory, and onboarding processes, building long-term relationships with clients and professionals while upholding AML and KYC standards. Hybrid working options available.

Qualifications

• Specialist sector knowledge within commercial Real Estate Finance.
• Experience in report writing and deal structuring to support credit origination.
• Good awareness and understanding of all aspects of Risk.
• Experience delivering transaction sizes between £2.5-£5m.
• Experience structuring lending across asset classes including residential investment and commercial property.
• Knowledge of commercial banking and property investment lending.
• Experience in credit writing and financial analysis for Real Estate transactions.
• Understanding of Financial Crime, AML, TCF and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to build long-term productive relationships inside the Bank.
• Provide KYC support to ensure excellent onboarding experience.
• Maximise customer relationships while maintaining TCF compliance.
• Plan time to focus on value-adding activity aligned to the Vision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the business model for Real Estate Finance.
• Be the external face to the property market and build brand reputation.
• Manage risk including Credit, Operational and Regulatory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key market professionals.
• Support onboarding and liaise with KYC and Financial Crime teams.
• Acquire and grow a portfolio of Real Estate customers.
• Collaborate across departments for a One Team approach.
• Identify opportunities and respond to regulatory requirements.
