Senior Real Estate and Procurement Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Procurement team as a Senior Real Estate and Procurement Manager! This role involves developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives to support our real estate needs globally. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, negotiate with real estate service providers, and implement high-quality, cost-effective solutions to meet our company's real estate requirements.
How you will create impact:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for real estate services, including leasing, property management, and related services.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and optimization of real estate-related procurement activities.
- Lead real estate projects from business request through office selection, contract negotiation, to office move-in, collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers. Provide project updates and prepare leadership reports.
- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with real estate service providers, negotiating contracts and conducting performance reviews.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key real estate partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead lease negotiations in partnership with internal stakeholders, ensuring favorable terms.
- Review lease agreements with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance.
- Conduct cost analysis and financial modeling to support real estate decisions and manage budgets.
- Stay informed about market trends, property values, and regulatory changes impacting sourcing activities.
- Provide market insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with Facilities Management, Finance, and Office leads to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical standards in all activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to real estate transactions and contracts.
Your profile:
- Degree in Business, Real Estate, Strategic Sourcing, or related fields; Master's preferred.
- Significant experience in strategic sourcing, especially in real estate and facilities within a global company.
- Strong project management, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of real estate market trends, best practices, and regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
- Fluency in German is a plus.
