Job summary

Zapp is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to own the mobile and web experiences used by customers, across iOS, Android, and web. Based in London, you’ll work in a hybrid setup with on-site presence mandatory three days a week.

You’ll build in React Native and Expo, bring AI into daily work, and shape the product with a customer-first mindset. We value strong TypeScript fundamentals, production-minded thinking, and a track record of delivering high-quality mobile apps.

• 5+ years building production mobile software.
• Deep React Native and Expo, strong iOS/Android track record.
• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Build mobile and web experiences for customers using React Native and Expo across iOS, Android, and web.
• Bring AI into daily work and share patterns that accelerate the team.
• Prototype and ship AI-powered features in the app.
• Own delivery end-to-end: design, implement, and ship features to production.
• Own on-call responsibilities and production health.
• Keep the app fast, reliable, and secure; improve architecture and patterns.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and raise the bar for the team.
