Job summary

Network Rail Scotland is seeking an experienced manager to lead the Works Delivery team, directing contractors and staff to deliver and renew structures assets in line with industry practices and Network Rail standards.

You will develop work plans, manage budgets and resources, ensure safety, and maintain asset performance across the Scotland West Geographical area in line with CDM Regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing and directing a team.
• Experience of team leadership and development.
• Experience of managing the production and delivery of a comprehensive and compliant work programme.
• Knowledge of the Construction, Design and Management Regulations (CDM).
• Ideally hold (or be working towards) NVQ level 3 or 4 (or equivalent).
• Able and willing to drive vehicles as required by business need.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Works Delivery team and Contractors to achieve business objectives and KPIs.
• Develop and engage the team, and manage staff welfare.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and CDM Regulations.
• Prepare work plans, resource specifications and scopes of work.
• Monitor asset condition, inspection, faulting and renewal activities.
• Maintain data accuracy across systems and records.
