Job summary

Network Rail in Scotland invites applications for a Permanent Full-Time Off Track Engineer based in Motherwell. You will plan, coordinate and optimise all section work activities to ensure safe, efficient delivery and compliance with safety standards.

You will produce Safe Systems of Work, manage access requests, support planning meetings, and maintain high-quality records across systems and maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating section work activities.
• Ability to produce Safe Systems of Work and manage access requests.
• Strong documentation and records-management skills.
• Effective stakeholder communication and planning meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimise all agreed work activities for the section.
• Accurately update systems, databases and records as required.
• Produce Safe System of Work plans.
• Submit green zone access and isolation requests.
• Manage weekly Plan-Do-Review meetings.
• Represent Section Managers at planning meetings.
• Collate and maintain infrastructure maintenance records.
