Job summary

AECOM seeks a strategic, commercially driven Programme Director to lead growth and delivery of major Rail & Transit programmes across Ireland. You will report to the Transportation Ireland Sector Director and work with the Ireland Sector Leadership team and global Transportation leadership to drive a 3-year growth strategy.

This role emphasizes winning major projects, building high-value client relationships, and delivering high-performance outcomes with safety and sustainability in focus.

Qualifications

• Proven market leader with a track record of positioning, leading, and winning major opportunities.
• Extensive experience delivering large-scale, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated success working with infrastructure owners, operators, contractors and partners.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing financial performance and project metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth and win major opportunities ≥$5M across UK & Ireland.
• Own end-to-end work-winning process for major programmes.
• Define and implement enterprise delivery models for bids.
• Develop strategic client relationships and ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with global teams to grow presence across Europe and India.
