Job summary

AECOM is seeking a strategic, client-focused Aviation Client & Programme Director to grow our Aviation business across the UK & Ireland. You will lead major pursuits, build executive client relationships and ensure delivery excellence across flagship programmes.

Reporting to Sector Director, you will shape growth strategy, win opportunities above $5M, and collaborate with global teams to unlock cross-border capabilities while maintaining safety and sustainability as core principles.

Qualifications

• Proven success leading pursuit, capture and conversion of major infrastructure opportunities.
• Established relationships within the aviation sector with airport operators and owners.
• Experience developing client strategies, growing key accounts and securing repeat business.
• Extensive experience leading delivery of complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure programmes.
• Strong commercial acumen with visibility on profitability and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of the Aviation business across the UK & Ireland with a three-year strategy.
• Own the client engagement strategy for key aviation clients and executive relationships.
• Direct end-to-end work winning for strategic pursuits (> $5M) and create differentiated proposals.
• Lead executive sponsorship for aviation accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee major aviation programmes focusing on schedule, cost, quality and governance.
• Drive revenue growth, margins, cashflow and project reporting.
• Foster leadership and capability to build a high-performing aviation business.
