Job summary

Amey Group Services LTD is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary design integration across rail schemes. You will mentor junior PMs and act as the main PM contact when needed, driving project success and client engagement.

You will monitor costs, schedule, and scope with technical teams, ensuring quality and safety while delivering on commercial objectives within a joint team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management is required.
• PM qualifications such as APM PPQ or equivalent are expected.
• Developed experience in Project Management, likely in a Assistant Project Manager role or equivalent.
• Capable of acting as day-to-day PM contact for a project when required.
• Experience using PM processes and tools to track progress, costs, and scope changes.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of interface management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs, progress, and scope variances with technical teams while ensuring quality, cost and programme constraints.
• Oversee junior staff and take responsibility for their actions.
• Be the commercial lead for projects within your portfolio and liaise with clients and suppliers at peer level.
• Contribute to bids and the work winning process.
• Promote effective health and safety practices within the team.
