Job summary

Nuclear Transport Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead the Rail category and shape safe, secure supply chains. You will manage a procurement team, ensure compliant, value-driven delivery and act as deputy to the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain.

You'll develop sourcing strategies, oversee complex procurements, support bids, and negotiate terms with suppliers while managing commercial risk and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement in a regulated, industrial or safety-critical environment.
• Experience designing and running compliant procurement competitions.
• Experience developing and negotiating contractual terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver compliant, commercially effective and value-adding procurement solutions.
• Manage the Rail category and align with NTS and business-line strategies.
• Develop sourcing and supply-chain solutions to support customer bids and project delivery.
• Lead complex procurement exercises and chair Tender Assessment Team for Silver and Gold procurements as required.
• Review and approve sourcing strategies and contract award recommendations within delegated authority.
