Turner Lovell is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a leading infrastructure delivery business specialising in rail enhancement and civil infrastructure projects across the UK. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will oversee engineering delivery across multiple sites, ensuring technical compliance, quality assurance, health and safety, and the development of engineering teams.

This is a predominantly site-based role with ownership of complex civil works in a well-established rail

Formación

• Solid experience in rail or major civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong on-site setting-out engineering background.
• Proven QA systems, site records and compliance.
• CRE exposure or readiness for Civils Construction CRE under Network Rail standards.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements in rail.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate engineering activities across multiple rail projects.
• Act as Setting Out Engineer and CRE for Civils Construction as required.
• Manage QA processes and site documentation per Network Rail standards.
• Coordinate Temporary and Permanent Works designs.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring H&S compliance and project requirements.
• Lead and develop junior engineers and site personnel.
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders and project teams for delivery.
• Support commercial performance through material take-offs and procurement.
