Qualified candidates will typically hold a Civil Engineering degree, have experience on large schemes (£100m+), and preferably be chartered (ICE/APM/RICS).

• Business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross- selling opportunities, are identified and acted upon.
• The internal financial status of all projects is effectively monitored.
• Key information and data is effectively cascaded and appropriately retained.

Responsabilités

• Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects.
• Act as the day to day client interface, ensuring objectives are met and projects delivered to time and cost targets and with appropriate quality standards.
• Senior Project Managers handle commissions of varying sizes, depending upon the project complexity.
• Advising at a strategic level at the project inception stage and providing advice on approaches to achieve client objectives.
• Prepare and maintain definitions of project requirements.
• Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project.
• Prepare and maintain schedules of activity, including the master project plan.
• Manage development of the project in accordance with approved plans and targets.
• Develop and implement resource plans and procurement of resources.
• Lead and facilitate the cross-functional project team.
• Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including KPIs.
• Manage the change control process.
• Develop and agree budgets and control forecast and actual costs.
• Manage the flow of project information between team and client.
• Identify and monitor project risks and plan risk mitigations.
• Prepare formal project progress and other reports.
• Interface with client, other consultants, and manage stakeholders at all project stages.
• Advise the client regarding Health & Safety and Environmental issues and risks.
• Plan for and ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues.

Formation

Degree qualified (Civil Engineering)

Experience on large scheme projects (£100m plus)

Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS etc
