Turner Lovell is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead delivery on rail infrastructure and civil projects across the UK. The role is site-based, overseeing engineering teams, technical compliance, QA and health and safety across multiple sites.

You will act as Setting Out Engineer and CRE where required, coordinate Temporary and Permanent Works designs, and drive safe, compliant delivery while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients and project teams.

Formación

• Solid rail or major civil infrastructure project experience.
• Strong site-based setting out engineer experience.
• Proven track record managing QA systems, site records and engineering compliance.
• Experience acting as, or readiness to undertake, CRE for Civils Construction under Network Rail requirements or equivalent.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements and engineering standards in rail.
• Full UK driving licence; flexibility to work across multiple sites.
• TWC qualification would be advantageous.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with ICE would be beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate engineering activities, resources, materials and equipment across multiple rail projects.
• Act as Setting Out Engineer and CRE for Civils Construction as required.
• Manage QA, site records and engineering compliance.
• Coordinate development, review and approval of Temporary and Permanent Works designs.
• Oversee site operations and health and safety compliance.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and subcontractors.
• Manage technical communication with clients and stakeholders for effective delivery.
• Support commercial performance through material take-offs, procurement and resource management.
