VolkerFitzpatrick invites a commercially minded leader to join the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE) as Commercial Manager. The role anchors commercial leadership across the Buildings Portfolio, overseeing risk, commercial viability and opportunities within rail infrastructure projects.

Base offices include Basingstoke, Blackfriars or Gravesend with regular meetings in Blackfriars. You will drive robust commercial governance, partner with clients and supply chain, and lead a high performing

Qualifications

Proven experience in a senior commercial role within rail, infrastructure, construction or related sector.
Experience within a Framework/Portfolio environment is advantageous.
Strong commercial and contractual management expertise.
Experience leading and developing commercial teams.

Responsibilities

Provide commercial leadership across the Buildings Portfolio to ensure projects are commercially robust.
Manage risks and maximise opportunities across rail infrastructure projects.
Build trusted relationships with clients, supply chain partners and project teams.
Influence, challenge and drive continuous improvement across a programme of works.
