Job summary

Based in Basingstoke, Blackfriars or Gravesend with regular attendance at Blackfriars meetings. The role suits a commercially astute leader with strong stakeholder skills, capable of developing high-performing teams and building trusted

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior commercial role within rail, infrastructure, construction or related sector.
• Experience within a Framework/Portfolio environment would be advantageous.
• Strong commercial and contractual management expertise.
• Experience leading and developing commercial teams.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build trusted relationships with clients, supply chain and project teams.
• Strong reporting, forecasting, risk management and change management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence, challenge and drive continuous improvement across a programme of works.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership across the Buildings Portfolio.
• Ensure projects are commercially robust, risks are effectively managed and opportunities are maximised.
• Develop and nurture high-performing commercial teams and relationships with clients and partners.
• Attend meetings and governance forums to support portfolio delivery.
