Job summary

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool invites applications for a Senior Clinical Scientist (Band 7) to provide physics support to the radiotherapy department. Qualifications

• HCPC registered Clinical Scientist
• BSc (Hons) Physics or equivalent
• MSc in Medical Physics or equivalent
• Knowledge of radiation physics applied to medicine
• Experience with radiotherapy equipment and QA procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide physics support to the radiotherapy department
• Contribute to QA tests and performance checks for radiotherapy equipment
• Support clinical staff with safety and radiation protection practices
• Collaborate with academic partners on MSc Medical Physics programme
