Job summary

The Radiology IT Department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a permanent Senior System Support Officer to join a dedicated team across LTHT sites. You will provide both hardware and software IT support, administer CRIS and assist with PACS, and help generate information reports from multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience providing first/second-line IT support for Radiology users.
• Experience of system administration on CRIS and PACS environments.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line IT support to Radiology users, coordinating with IT teams and external suppliers.
• Log, diagnose and manage faults, monitor progress and ensure timely resolution.
• Install, configure and maintain IT equipment; arrange repairs or replacement as needed.
• Maintain accurate hardware and software records; manage passwords and user profiles.
• Assist with acceptance testing for changes to the CRIS database; ensure new functionality is fit for purpose.
• Oversee QA on Radiology PACS Workstations per IR(ME)R guidance; collate results.
• Analyse data to support clinical and business objectives using a range of software products.
• Undertake training to stay up-to-date with tools and clinical systems.
