Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Senior Systems Administrator to join the Research and Innovation team supporting the National Pathology Imaging Co-operative (NPIC).

You will lead the management and continuous improvement of critical IT systems and Service Desk services across a national network, partnering with clinicians, technical colleagues, and vendors to deliver reliable digital services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience of managing and supporting complex IT systems and infrastructure, particularly in the NHS environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
• Experience of leading, supporting and developing technical teams or colleagues.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a high-quality user experience.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience of managing suppliers, third-party providers and service relationships.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for service improvement and implementing change.
