Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Radiologist in the West Midlands. The post requires full GMC registration and eligibility for the Specialist Register, with strong cross-sectional imaging skills including CT, ultrasound and MRI.

The job plan is based on 10 PAs per week (8 Direct Clinical Care, 2 SPAs) with on-call duties; flexible working can be discussed. Applications from diverse candidates are welcome and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Essential: MBBS/MBChB or equivalent and FRCR or equivalent.
• Essential: Full GMC registration with licence to practice.
• Essential: Entry on GMC Specialist Register via CCT within 6 months or CESR.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert radiology opinions across a broad spectrum of imaging.
• Take full independent responsibility for clinical patient care and on-call duties.
• Engage in MDT meetings and contribute to service improvement.
