Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage multiple water infrastructure projects in the Bristol/South West region. You will oversee end-to-end commercial activities from inception to final account, with a focus on delivering value and ensuring project profitability.

The role requires NEC contract experience, strong cost reporting and the ability to mentor junior staff, with a UK driving licence and a willingness to travel along the M5 corridor.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor in UK utilities, infrastructure or civil engineering.
• Experience administering NEC contracts is preferred.
• Strong commercial reporting and cost management skills required.
• Ability to manage projects independently and drive commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management across the lifecycle of projects.
• Procurement and subcontract management.
• Cost forecasting and reporting.
• Change management and compensation events.
• Managing client applications and valuations.
• Final accounts and commercial close out.
• Mentoring a junior Quantity Surveyor.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve commercial performance.
