Job summary

Gold Group is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join its civils framework for National Grid projects in the Bristol region. The role involves full commercial lifecycle management, from tender to final account, with a strong emphasis on client and supply chain collaboration.

You will work within a experienced commercial team, taking ownership of packages, managing procurement and cost reporting, and driving commercial performance across the framework.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or civil engineering.
• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Drive to take responsibility and develop professionally.
• Genuine interest in progressing a career in civil engineering and infrastructure.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of civils packages from tender through to final account.
• Procurement and management of subcontractors.
• Prepare valuations, applications for payment and cost reporting.
• Manage variations, changes and commercial risk.
• Support forecasting and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with project and delivery teams.
• Develop relationships with client and supply chain to improve performance.
