Job summary

Mott MacDonald is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on major water, transport and infrastructure programmes in the UK. You will manage cost plans, procurement strategies, and contract compliance across project lifecycles, while building strong client relationships and guiding teams to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be MRICS chartered or equivalent with Quantity Surveying degree.
• Proven experience delivering commercial and contractual elements of heavy infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC contracts and different pricing mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership on major projects and programmes.
• Develop and manage cost plans, estimates, and procurement strategies.
• Ensure contract compliance and robust cost management across life-cycle.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver clear communications.
