Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Environment & Water team. You will support pre-contract tendering, provide robust estimates, and administer contracts with a focus on cost control and risk management.

The role involves developing strong client relationships, proactive reporting, and occasional travel to client offices in the North West. MRICS or APC candidate status is preferred.

Qualifications

• MRICS status or working toward APC is preferred.
• Experience with NEC3/4 ECC main Options A, C or E.
• Proven track record in contract management, reporting and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-contract tender process including tender assessment and queries.
• Ensure robust estimates aligned to scope with risk allowances.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with communications, payments and events.
• Provide robust budget and cost management with proactive solutions.
• Develop client relationships and manage project and programme risk.
• Travel to client sites in North West England and work in offices as required.
