My client is expanding its commercial team as part of its growing AMP8 workload and is looking to recruit Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the commercial management of water infrastructure projects, ensuring financial control, contractual compliance and successful project delivery across NEC contracts.

You’ll be responsible for the commercial management of water infrastructure projects, ensuring robust financial control, contractual compliance and successful project delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Working across predominantly NEC4 Option C contracts, you’ll oversee project costs from inception through to final account, producing valuations, CVRs and cost reports, managing subcontract procurement and payments, administering variations and change control, and maintaining accurate forecasting and cash flow. Working closely with operational teams, you’ll play a key role in maximising commercial performance while ensuring projects are delivered successfully, safely and profitably. Typical project values range from £1m to £50m across the North East.

What We're Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience within construction, utilities or civil engineering
• Knowledge of NEC contracts (particularly NEC4)
