Job summary

Lanes Group PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support commercial performance across water utility projects. You will work with operations, planning, finance and clients to maximise value, manage risk and ensure contractual compliance on a portfolio of reactive, planned and maintenance works. Location: Bradford/Leyland.

Hours: 42.5 per week. Salary: negotiable dependent on experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within utilities, infrastructure, civil engineering, water, or capital projects.
Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts.
Experience managing project cost, value, forecasting, change control and commercial reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage the commercial performance of allocated projects from mobilisation through to final account.
Monitor cost, value, cash, margin, risk and opportunity performance across projects.
Prepare, validate and manage contractual submissions in line with contractual requirements.
Manage change control processes, including variations, compensation events, early warnings and scope changes.
Provide commercial analysis and reporting to support operational and leadership decision-making.
Support procurement and subcontract governance across projects.
