Gold Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major rail infrastructure programme in Milton Keynes. You will oversee commercial and quantity surveying activities on a complex rail project, ensuring cost control and contractual compliance while coordinating with clients and project teams.

You'll attend site in Milton Keynes three days a week, with a strong focus on risk management, forecasting, valuations and change control to drive value across the programme.

Qualifikationen

• Must have rail sector experience and client-facing skills.
• Solid understanding of cost management, forecasting and change control.
• Experience with valuations, applications for payment and contractual matters.

Aufgaben

• Manage commercial and quantity surveying activities on a complex rail project.
• Support cost management, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review valuations, applications for payment and change assessments.
• Manage variations, compensation events and contractual change.
• Review contractor submissions and assess costs.
• Support procurement and subcontractor cost assessment.
• Identify commercial risks and provide reporting and recommendations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors and client reps.
