Job summary

STRABAG UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the SRFI contract at SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett in Hertfordshire. The role requires strong commercial leadership on-site, with a focus on cost control, reporting and adherence to contract procedures.

You will develop cost reports, valuations, procurement schedules and manage subcontractor payments while mentoring junior staff and ensuring robust risk and change management.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract and Standard Methods of Measurement.
• NEC Option A knowledge and project experience at a Senior QS level.
• Commercially astute with strong cost management and reporting.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy and governance on the SRFI project.
• Prepare valuations, payment applications and cost reports.
• Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules.
• Draft and negotiate change events and final accounts.
• Monitor WIP, cash flow and margin improvement plans.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff.
