Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Warrington for hybrid working arrangements. You will monitor progress by measuring installed quantities against plans, maintain MTOs from IFC drawings, and develop forecasts and cost projections aligned with project milestones.

You will perform cost-benefit analyses, value engineering, and feasibility studies to optimise labour, materials, and execution strategies, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring governance compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience with quantity tracking, measurement, and progress reporting on large construction projects.
  • Ability to develop forecasts, cost estimates, and project controls reporting.
  • Experience interpreting Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and applying cost analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor progress by measuring installed quantities against plans/baselines.
  • Maintain MTOs based on IFC drawings for accurate progress tracking.
  • Develop forecasts and cost projections aligned with schedules and milestones.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and value engineering to optimise labour/materials.
  • Analyse variances and support corrective actions and commercial decisions.
  • Integrate quantity, cost, and progress data into project controls reporting.
  • Coordinate with engineering, planning, and commercial teams for data consistency.
  • Mentor junior staff and prioritise workload across deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and project governance.
