Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Warrington with hybrid working options. You will monitor progress by measuring quantities, manage MTOs from IFC drawings, and deliver forecasting, cost projections and value engineering to support delivery against baselines.

The role requires experience in quantity surveying on large projects, strong analytical skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members while aligning with company policies and governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with quantity tracking, measurement and progress reporting on large projects.
  • Familiarity with Issued for Construction drawings and MTO development.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor construction progress by measuring installed quantities vs plans and baselines.
  • Maintain and update quantity take-offs and MTOs from IFC drawings.
  • Develop forecasting models and cost projections aligned with schedules and milestones.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses, value engineering, and feasibility studies.
  • Analyze variances and provide insights for corrective actions and commercial decisions.
  • Integrate data for project controls reporting across quantity, cost and progress.
