Job summary

KBR is seeking a Project Controls Manager in Warrington (hybrid) to lead planning, cost control and governance for complex UK projects. You will drive schedules, baselines, and performance reporting with stakeholders across planning, cost and commercial teams.

The role requires NEC/UK framework experience, EVM proficiency, and a track record of mentoring project controls teams, along with SC clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional project management or controls certification (APM, PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Controls function for assigned projects or programmes, integrating planning, cost, risk, change, and performance reporting activities.
• Develop, maintain, and assure integrated schedules and cost baselines aligned to approved scope and delivery strategies.
• Establish and manage Performance Measurement Baselines, including forecasting, variance analysis, and earned value reporting.
• Implement project controls governance, processes, and assurance routines to support consistent and compliant delivery.
• Provide clear, decision‑focused reports and dashboards for project leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate inputs from planning, cost, risk, and commercial teams to ensure data integrity and alignment.
• Support change control processes by assessing impacts to schedule, cost, and risk and maintaining baseline integrity.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support delivery objectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls methods, tools, and reporting standards.
