Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join our growing consultancy on a hybrid basis in the United Kingdom. You will deliver commercial and cost management across a varied project portfolio, from planning through to delivery, on schemes up to £400m.

You will need strong PQS/cost consultancy experience, across residential, student accommodation, education, retail or mixed use, and excellent client-facing communication to drive projects and add value.

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a strong and growing consultancy, working across some genuinely high quality projects with excellent long term progression available.

The consultancy has an established reputation across the property and construction sector and is continuing to grow, offering the opportunity to work on major projects valued up to £400m across a diverse range of sectors.

The Role

You're involved in delivering commercial and cost management services across a varied project portfolio, including:

• Mixed use developments
• Student accommodation
• Residential
• Education
• Retail
• Major development and regeneration schemes

Projects range from smaller developments through to major £400m+ schemes, giving you exposure to some of the most interesting projects in the market.

You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your projects, work closely with clients and project teams, and play a key role in delivering projects from early cost planning through to completion.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / PQS with a strong consultancy background and a solid understanding of cost management across the built environment.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong experience within a PQS / cost consultancy environment
• Experience working across sectors such as residential, student accommodation, education, retail or mixed use
• Strong cost planning and commercial management experience
• The ability to manage projects through the full lifecycle
• Excellent communication and client facing skills
• A genuine ambition to progress within a growing consultancy
